Insurance companies offer a variety of different coverage plans with a variety of different service providers.
If you are interested in working together, and hope to have the service covered by your insurance, it would be your responsibility to connect with your insurance provider and ensure they provide coverage for services offered by a Registered Psychotherapist and/or a Registered Psychotherapist under Social Work supervision.
Unfortunately, psychotherapy services are not currently covered by OHIP. Services would be paid out-of-pocket, and reimbursed to those with third-party insurance coverage.
Payments are made in full at the end of each session and can be done so in the form of credit or debit.
Following payment, you will receive a receipt with all the details required by insurance companies to be reimbursed (if you have coverage). We do not do any direct billing with insurance companies at this time.
Appointments will not be held beyond the first 20 minutes as this will no longer be sufficient time for a therapeutically valuable conversation.
If you might be running late, you can try to connect with your therapist to see if there is flexibility in pushing the appointment out.
Psychotherapy is the process of establishing an intentional, meaningful relationship between therapist and client(s) where predominantly talk-therapy occurs in effort to maintain, repair and strengthen the clients’ mental health and well-being.
As mental health professionals offering psychotherapy services, we are trained and experienced in guiding, containing, leading and monitoring conversations in an intentionally beneficial way. The goal is to facilitate an increase of awareness and insight so that you are better aligned with the type of life you want to be living.
As the client, you are the expert on your life. You posses knowledge, experience, values, beliefs, hopes and expectations that will be channeled to achieve sustainable change.
